Rick, Julie, and kids

Before you get started looking at the photos please click on the link below, view a little bit of the prior action lol. I will have to say this session was a challenge, but every now and then you need a challenge to wake you up !!!!

When Julie called to book the session she warned me that her 2 year old was a runner. Meaning he needed to be put somewhere where he couldn't get down from in order to get him in a photo. So after several attempts of using multiple props, using my toy puppet to gather the children's attention we were still struggling to get Nolan in a photo. So we brought out the infamous toy peddle car.

It WORKED for a few seconds, until Nolan was upset that his sister was sitting on it LOL. All and all we got some great memorable shots, that I am very pleased with!!!

When the session was completed , I reminded both Julie and Rick something I remind all my clients. I told them "when you sit down and look at old photos with family and friends, what do you do"? You sit and laugh and laugh and laugh at the goofy faces, the clothes you were wearing, and the hair styles that were in . Why do we laugh? The answer is because its a memory. This is the same thing that these photos for years to come with do for Julie, Rick, the kids, there kids, there grand kids, and etc. This is a moment in time that will NEVER be forgotten....and even though we didn't get everyone sitting in a perfect formation, with perfect smiles...it DOESN'T matter......what matters is what you see in the photo....a FAMILY !!!!!

Thank you SOOOOOOOO much Rick and Julie for putting your faith in me to capture your families precious memories!!! I enjoyed every minute of it and it was such a pleasure to meet your wonderful children and there amazing personalities! I hope to work with you all again in the future! XOXO

P.S. This is just a preview .......stay tuned for the rest :)
